Most tubing accidents occur in the run out area when children do not clear the track quickly enough. For this reason, we may require you to hold on to your child's tube and go down together so you can quickly help them clear the track. Children under 2 are not allowed to tube. Unfortunately, they are too light for our lift to safely pull them up the mountain. Everyone, including small children must be able to ride in their own tube up and down the mountain. Parents may hold on to a child in their own tubes going down the run. Staff may require this for young children so that the track is cleared. Want our opinion? We don't recommend children under 5 participate in this potentially risky activity. Please observe track conditions, crowds, and speeds before letting your child take the risk inherent in tubing.
